The much anticipated CentOS 7.0 has been released today, which much traffic to accompany it!

As of right now, their ‘Seven’ official website is down, but we’ve managed to find a proper CentOS 7.0 mirror, using the NetInstall. The image will be available later today as a one-click install image for all HostVirtual VPS server customers.

NOTE: HostVirtual Customers can now install CentOS 7 instantly with just a few clicks. Not a customer? Check out our plans today, and install CentOS 7 in minutes.

When installing choose a Net-Install source of:

We personally used EasyNews mirror, as it was one of the rare Mirrors that had CentOS 7.0 available to download. Here’s a mirror list suggested for torrent download as well:

  • https://mirror.centos.org/centos/7/isos/x86_64/CentOS-7.0-1406-x86_64-GnomeLive.torrent
  • https://mirror.centos.org/centos/7/isos/x86_64/CentOS-7.0-1406-x86_64-KdeLive.torrent
  • https://mirror.centos.org/centos/7/isos/x86_64/CentOS-7.0-1406-x86_64-livecd.torrent
  • https://mirror.centos.org/centos/7/isos/x86_64/CentOS-7.0-1406-x86_64-NetInstall.torrent
  • https://mirror.centos.org/centos/7/isos/x86_64/CentOS-7.0-1406-x86_64-Everything.torrent

More updates to come, including once the image is ready for our VPS customers. In the meantime we would suggest using a mirror from above that has a CentOS 7.0 Net Install ISO, and the source we’ve provided. It seems Seven.CentOS.org is now back online, but it doesn’t seemed guaranteed from a tweet released.
