Cloud OS Breakdown

It’s been almost a year since our last post about O/S distribution used in our Cloud. You can now view a high level near-time breakdown of the O/S list.

Most interesting is that we’ve seen an overall slowdown in the growth of Gentoo, with a huge (%) wise increase in customers chosing Ubuntu as their server distribution. CentOS also continues to remain stable with a slight growth rate.

This tends to reflect the nature of each O/S, and the growing support of Ubuntu by web developers.
