Customers of Host Virtual now have entry into Germany’s central location in Europe and its booming connections into financial institutions, cloud services and internet service providers.
Located about 20 kilometers from Frankfurt’s airport, Host Virtual’s new data center will be located at the Interxion campus, which is home to seven independently operated but interconnected facilities. The facility allows Host Virtual access to over 400 carriers in Germany, as well as DE-CIX, Germany’s largest internet exchange and the largest exchange point in the world, in terms of peak traffic, with a maximum throughput of 3.4 terabits per second. In addition to Frankfurt, DE-CIX’s exchange points can also be found at Hamburg, Munich, New York and Dubai.
