With first class connections into Silicon Valley and the West Coast, Tranquil Hosting opened its latest location for its bare metal dedicated services in San Jose’s Central Colo – SV1.

Tranquil Hosting adds San Jose to its MAAS — or Bare “Metal as a Service” on demand platform — its latest in the US and European Union. Tranquil’s instant dedicated server service allows its customers to deploy and manage hardware as if they were a virtual machine, offering the benefits of bare metal servers and service-based cloud computing.

The datacenter Tranquil Hosting selected for its San Jose cloud is the carrier-neutral Central Colo – SV1 facility, which offers over 94,500 square feet of space, with 6.5 megawatts of power, with 14 megawatts of backup power. Central Colo – SV1 connects to eight different carriers, and is partnered with AT&T and Level 3, giving it excellent connectivity to the US West Coast as well as the hub of Silicon Valley.
