Expanding its connectivity footprint, Tranquil Hosting opens Hong Kong datacenter to serve Asia and Mainland China.

Tranquil Hosting announced the launch of its first cloud server in Hong Kong, centrally located in Asia.

Well positioned for access into and throughout Asia, Tranquil Hosting offers its customers with low latency connections throughout the continent. These include premium fiber optic connections that route directly into mainland China. Its customers can take advantage of its cloud services and deploy servers to the area.

The carrier-neutral NTT datacenter offers tier 1 backbone connections, as well as geographic coverage of almost all of Hong Kong. Tranquil Hosting customers can use any connection service through the datacenter. It also features Tier III+ fully redundant physical infrastructure, including back-up generators, cooling and dual power feeds to each rack.

In addition to using NTT’s excellent Asia-centric connectivity, Tranquil Hosting has implemented premium “Direct China” options as well as connections to the Hong Kong Internet Exchange (HKIX) and other carriers in Asia.

“A premium, high bandwidth connection into China is a necessity for many global customers,” Mark Price, Tranquil Hosting’s CEO, said. “We are very pleased to be able to offer a connection that not only services China, but the greater Asian market as well. Our datacenter offers amazing coverage and is what our customers expect in terms of speed, latency and service.”

Price added that Tranquil Hosting is excited to continually expand its presence and adding instant bare metal servers to its service portfolio.
