Less than a year and a half after opening its Denver datacenter, cloud hosting service Host Virtual adds additional capacity and connectivity to its Anycast IaaS cloud.
Host Virtual, an industry leader in cloud hosting with presences in US, Europe and Asia, upgraded and expanded their datacenter presence in Denver.
The company’s Denver datacenter, opened on February 2013 and the thirteenth of 16 around the world, is located in downtown Denver and in one of the areas with the least seismic activity in the US. The improvements in capacity and connectivity upgrade the outstanding peering in the Rocky Mountain area by connecting its downtown datacenter location to the carrier hotel run by CoreSite in Denver.
“We constantly monitor our datacenters around the world to ensure that our customers will always have access to the latest technology for their cloud hosting needs,” Kris Slevens, director of customer experience, said. “This means adding connectivity and storage capacity to existing locations, in the case of our Denver location, and in other cases it means opening up a new datacenter. In addition to Denver, Host Virtual’s also recently upgraded its Dallas location and opened a new datacenter in Toronto to better serve the Eastern half of Canada.
