You may or may not be aware that it’s possible to run any O/S on our platform, including FreeBSD. In fact, we’ve supported it officially in beta for quite some time.
We’re now pleased to announce an official FreeBSD image that you can install in minutes to any of our dual-stack IPv4 + IPv6 Cloud Locations. The image available is based on the current FreeBSD 8.2 release. We’ve had quite a few requests for this image, as well as a FeeBSD WHM/cPanel image which you can now easily install.
We’re also thinking about creating a standard image for NetBSD and OpenBSD, so if you’re interested in these please let us know.
