NetActuate has been a proud FOSS supporter for decades, supporting, contributing to and hosting projects like Gentoo Linux, FreeBSD, Varnish Cache, Cacti, and the Open Source Lab (OSL). We also offer in-kind support for the local Raleigh area open source community, including the Triangle Linux User Group (TriLUG).

This fall, we were proud to support the local Raleigh open source community by sponsoring All Things Open, one of the largest open source/open tech/open web conference on the East Coast, and one of the largest in the United States.

Staff enjoyed connecting with fellow sponsors, meeting conference attendees, and recruiting top-tier technical talent. With over 200 sessions and 20 tracks of content, staff were able to learn and engage about a wide range of open source and related topics, from hands-on how-to workshops to visionary talks about trends and new technologies.

“I was able to connect with so many interesting people, from robotics programmers to CIOs, many of whom had come quite a long way to attend,” said Chris Kendregan, NetActuate Solution Consultant. “It was great to see such interest in our products and services from such a wide range of people.”

As avid users and enthusiasts of open source technology, including much of what powers our Global Edge cloud and connectivity services, we were proud to support and get to know other dedicated members of the open source community at All Things Open. We are looking forward to the 2019 conference, and look forward to connecting – and reconnecting – with sponsors and attendees next fall.
