Infrastructure

The Infrastructure section is where you deploy, manage, and monitor all compute and storage resources across NetActuate's global network. Navigate to Infrastructure in the left sidebar to access it.

Dashboard

The Infrastructure overview page displays a summary of your active resources:

  • Active data centers — count of locations where you have deployed infrastructure
  • Virtual machines — total number of active VMs
  • Bare metal servers — total number of active dedicated servers
  • Kubernetes clusters — total number of active managed Kubernetes clusters
  • Storage servers — total number of active storage resources

A time-range selector in the top right of every dashboard page lets you adjust the reporting window. A traffic direction selector lets you toggle between inbound, outbound, or combined views.

NetFlow Dashboards

Below the resource counts, the dashboard includes NetFlow-based traffic analytics for your infrastructure. These dashboards visualize bandwidth usage, traffic patterns, and flow data across your deployed resources.

Sections

  • Virtual Machines — deploy and manage VMs across 40+ global locations with flexible CPU, RAM, and storage configurations. Provision in seconds with your chosen OS, SSH keys, and cloud-init scripts.
  • Bare Metal — dedicated physical servers with IPMI access, full hardware control, and no virtualization overhead.
  • Colocation — house your own equipment in NetActuate data centers with Tier 1 network connectivity and facility access.
  • Storage — S3-compatible object storage and Ceph RBD block volumes for persistent data, billed at $0.25/GB with no ingress charges.
  • Cloud (VPC) — virtual private cloud environments with gateway, firewall, NAT, and load balancing for isolated workloads.
  • Kubernetes — managed Kubernetes clusters with a fully managed control plane, optional HA, and integrated monitoring.

Automation

All infrastructure operations available in the portal can be performed programmatically:

  • API v3 — full REST API for deploying and managing resources
  • Terraform — infrastructure as code with the NetActuate Terraform provider
  • Ansible — configuration management and automated provisioning
