Requesting IP Transit
IP Transit on NetActuate is provisioned and configured by the NetActuate team on your behalf. Unlike BGP or Anycast, there is no self-service wizard for creating transit ports. This guide covers how to request IP Transit and monitor your transit services once they are active.
Requesting IP Transit
To set up IP Transit at a NetActuate location:
- Contact support@netactuate.com or open a support ticket from the portal at Support → Submit Ticket.
- Include the following in your request:
- Target location (PoP)
- Desired commit level (bandwidth)
- Whether you will use your own ASN and IP space or need NetActuate-provided resources
- Any specific peering or routing requirements
- The NetActuate team will provision the transit port, configure BGP peering, and assign IP subnets.
You will be notified when the transit service is active and visible in the portal.
Monitoring IP Transit
Once your transit service is live, navigate to Networking → IP Transit in the portal.
