Provisioning Colocation
Colocation services are provisioned by the NetActuate team on your behalf. There is no self-service deployment wizard — colocation requires a consultation to determine cabinet size, power requirements, cross-connect needs, and network configuration.
Requesting Colocation
To get started with colocation at a NetActuate facility:
- Contact your account manager directly, or open a support ticket from the portal at Support → Submit Ticket.
- Include the following in your request:
- Target facility or region
- Cabinet or rack space requirements
- Power requirements (amps, circuits, redundancy)
- Cross-connect or network connectivity needs (BGP, IP Transit, VLAN, direct connect to other providers)
- Any specific compliance or physical security requirements
- The NetActuate team will work with you to scope and provision the colocation environment.
You can also reach NetActuate directly via chat or by emailing support@netactuate.com.
After Provisioning
Once your colocation environment is active, navigate to Infrastructure → Colocation in the portal to:
- View your cabinet lock code and facility access details
- Review assigned IP subnets and network configuration
- Monitor BGP peering details (your ASN and NetActuate's ASN)
- View historical bandwidth usage reports
- Check maintenance announcements and service status
For details on the portal dashboard sections, see the Colocation Overview.
