How-To Guide
NetActuate Cloud VLANs provide Layer 2 connectivity between your resources across the platform. VLANs use a global VLAN ID that is consistent across all locations, making it easy to interconnect VMs, bare metal, colocation, and cloud services. This guide covers requesting and working with Cloud VLANs.
Provision a VLAN
Cloud VLANs are provisioned by the NetActuate team based on your connectivity requirements.

Attaching VLANs at VM Build Time
Cloud VLANs can be assigned to VMs at build time using the params.nics parameter in the build API. This avoids post-boot network reconfiguration. See Building VMs with Multiple NICs and VLANs for the full workflow.
