BYOL: supply your Norsk license (the same engine-format license as the Norsk Studio appliance). Companion to Norsk Studio.

Frequently asked questions

How do I deploy Norsk Probe on NetActuate?

Use the Deploy on NetActuate button to talk to our team. We provision Norsk Probe on a NetActuate virtual machine in the point of presence you choose, close to your audience. Each deployment runs in the single location you select.

What does it cost to run Norsk Probe?

Norsk Probe is a bring-your-own-license (BYOL) appliance: you supply your own license from id3as (Norsk), and it is applied securely when the appliance first boots. On top of that you pay only NetActuate's standard compute rates for the virtual-machine size and point of presence you choose - NetActuate adds no usage-based or per-hour software fees.

Where can Norsk Probe run?

Norsk Probe can be deployed in any of NetActuate's 45+ points of presence across every continent, so you can place ingest, transcode, delivery and caching close to your contributors and viewers.

Who supports Norsk Probe?

NetActuate operates and supports the underlying infrastructure - the virtual machine, network and edge platform. The application itself is supported by its vendor, id3as (Norsk).
