Bare metal is a service where NetActuate owns and maintains the physical servers. You configure, deploy, and manage them remotely. Colocation is a service where you own and ship your own hardware to a NetActuate facility, and we provide the rack space, power, cooling, network connectivity, and physical security.
Yes. Bare metal and colocation can coexist in the same facility and connect to the same network. You can also add virtual machines, Managed Kubernetes clusters, storage, and networking services in the same location through the same portal.
