NetActuate will be at IBC, Sept 11-14, in Amsterdam. Let's meet up!

City pairs come online as ready to use flows, not month long projects. No carrier by carrier procurement, and no overlay stitched together across networks you cannot see into.
One substrate reaches into the locations your traffic needs, drawn from a catalogue of more than 45. International paths get the same visibility, the same built in redundancy, and the same contribution grade performance you would expect from a domestic path.
Deployment fits how you operate: global, North America focused, or limited to a specific set of countries.

NetActuate is the layer beneath SMPTE ST 2110 and ST 2022-7, VSF RIST and the SRT Alliance, and sells no encoder, no application and no content. If you build sender or receiver software, run your layer on the substrate.
If you are building your own stack, take the pure substrate and build on it directly. Your encoders, gateways, orchestrators, workflow and content stay yours.

The substrate carries no separate platform charge. You pay only for usage, metered and itemized by tenant and flow at standard NetActuate rates, with egress and other usage billed separately.
Custom Media Substrate, with its dedicated network identity and per country deployment scope, is quoted per deployment. The NetActuate MoQ Relay is available as a no charge evaluation deployment on request.

No. Bring the encoder and protocol you already run. We have instrumented SRT, RIST, UDP, MPTS, MoQ, ST 2022-7, SMPTE ST 2110, RTMP, WebRTC, WHIP and WHEP, and new protocols arrive as thin adapters.
No. You send one stream and receive one stream, and the substrate runs diverse paths and fails over it with no interruption at the output. If you want more diversity, an optional add on runs diverse dual feeds into and out of our points of presence.
NetActuate operates in more than 45 locations worldwide, 22 of them in the United States, with a presence in every major North American media market. The substrate is not confined to a fixed set of pre built sites. We deploy it into the locations your traffic needs, drawn from that catalogue, and extend it further on request. So the answer to where we can take your feed is the catalogue and your own footprint, not a count of sites we have already lit. With the Custom tier you choose the scope.
No. We are infrastructure only and sit under and alongside your existing transport standards and vendors. We move the bytes and measure the path.
Every flow is instrumented for latency, continuity and loss, ingress to egress across our own network and per leg. That is the boundary we stand behind. Your last mile at either end and any protective protocol buffer are separate, are reported separately and are never folded into our figures. Usage is metered and itemised per tenant and per flow.
We do not claim to fix the physical last mile. Often what presents as last mile pain is congestion at the carrier peering points between your access provider and the rest of the internet. The substrate measures that continuously and moves around a congested interconnect with no action from you and none from your carrier. Where the access line genuinely is the problem, the five delivery models above address it commercially: a dedicated circuit, a managed last mile, or LEO alongside a fixed line.
The Media Substrate is available now in the NetActuate portal under Networking, in Managed and Custom tiers. Managed turns up self service. Custom is quoted per deployment. The NetActuate MoQ Relay is available on request with a no charge evaluation deployment of your own; we operate no open public relay. Book an architecture review to scope a deployment across your footprint.
