Flashphoner Web Call Server 5
Flashphoner Web Call Server 5 (WCS5) is a commercial real-time media server built around WebRTC, available in the NetActuate Marketplace as a bring-your-own-license (BYOL) appliance. It powers browser-to-browser and browser-to-SIP video calls, live streaming to and from WebRTC, and low-latency delivery, with interop across RTMP, RTSP, SIP, MPEG-TS, and WebSocket, so a single server bridges web clients and traditional streaming and telephony stacks. Deployed from the Marketplace it boots configured from your seeded values and auto-detects its public address for WebRTC ICE. It is grouped under the Media & Streaming category.
What It Does
Flashphoner WCS5 bridges WebRTC with traditional streaming and telephony. Common uses include:
- Browser-to-browser and browser-to-SIP video calls
- Live streaming to and from WebRTC with low latency
- Interop across RTMP, RTSP, SIP, MPEG-TS, and WebSocket
Deploying WCS5 near your users keeps real-time media latency low.
