Revive Adserver is the leading free, open-source ad server. Serve and track banner, VAST video and native advertising across your websites and apps, run multiple advertisers and campaigns, target and cap delivery, and measure it all with built-in reporting, from a server you control.

Deployed from the NetActuate marketplace, Revive boots pre-configured from your seeded values: the database schema and the admin account are created headlessly at first boot so the web install wizard is already finished, and the database password is generated and persisted. Sign in at /www/admin/ and start trafficking. Serving ads to production traffic on a real domain with HTTPS needs TLS termination in front of the appliance (a documented follow-up); the single-VM appliance serves the full web console over HTTP on the instance IP out of the box.

Using the Appliance
Deploy in minutes
- Open the console. Browse to http://YOUR_VM_IP/www/admin/ and sign in with username admin and the admin password from your secret list.
- Add a website and zones. Create a website, define its ad zones, and copy the generated invocation tags into your pages.
- Run a campaign. Add an advertiser and campaign, upload banners or a VAST video tag, link them to your zones, and Revive starts delivering.
Exposure posture: the appliance serves plain HTTP on port 80. Serving ads on a real domain (and any HTTPS pages) requires TLS: put a TLS-terminating proxy in front (or a real hostname with a certificate) before going to production.
FAQ
Is there a software license fee? No. Revive Adserver is open source and free to run. You pay only for the NetActuate infrastructure and bandwidth.
Where is the web interface?
On port 80 at path /www/admin/ by default.
Who supports it? NetActuate operates the underlying infrastructure. The application itself is community-supported open source (best-effort SLA class).
