LibreTime is a free, open-source radio broadcasting and automation platform. Run a full radio station from a web console: build a program calendar, manage a music and audio library, schedule shows, mix live and pre-recorded playout, and stream to listeners over Icecast, all from a server you control.

Deployed from the NetActuate marketplace, LibreTime boots pre-configured from your seeded values: the database schema is migrated and the built-in default admin (admin/admin) is rotated to your seeded credential before the web console is exposed, and the datastore, broker and Icecast passwords are generated and persisted. Sign in at /login on port 8080 and start building your station. Public streaming and federation need a real domain name and TLS termination in front of the appliance (a documented follow-up); the single-VM appliance serves the full web console over HTTP on the instance IP out of the box.

Using the Appliance
Deploy in minutes
- Open the console. Browse to http://YOUR_VM_IP:8080/login and sign in with username admin and the admin password from your secret list.
- Set up your station. Under Settings, set your station name and preferences, then add users, upload media, and create shows on the calendar.
- Go on air. Your Icecast stream is served from the appliance; point listeners at your public stream URL.
Exposure posture: the appliance serves plain HTTP on port 8080 (web console) and streams on 8000 (Icecast). For a public station put a TLS-terminating proxy in front (or a real hostname with a certificate) and set the public base URL before going live.
FAQ
Is there a software license fee? No. LibreTime is open source and free to run. You pay only for the NetActuate infrastructure and bandwidth.
Where is the web interface?
On port 8080 at path /login by default.
Who supports it? NetActuate operates the underlying infrastructure. The application itself is community-supported open source (best-effort SLA class).
